Identity infrastructure for strategic compartmentalization

Operate up to three distinct social identities without collapsing them into a single public profile. Deploy different personas across different contexts with controlled power.

Invite-only · Desktop-first · No algorithms

Most platforms force you to exist as one flattened identity

In real life, you're formal with colleagues, playful with friends, experimental in creative spaces. Social media collapses all of this into one profile—creating what sociologists call context collapse.

Selves rejects this architecture. Instead of forcing a single identity into every interaction, Selves provides infrastructure for maintaining distinct identities that can be deployed strategically.

Three deployable identity containers

Each user can create up to three Selves. Each Self has its own handle, visual identity, post history, and connection graph. The three-Self limit is structural—it forces intentional identity design instead of infinite fragmentation.

Instant Switching
Click a Self in the sidebar and the entire interface recontextualizes immediately. No rituals, no declarations. Pure controlled power.
Ring-Based Privacy
Choose audience intuitively: Open (public), Orbit (conversational), Inner (intimate), or Vault (monetized backstage).
Zone Lounges
Browse contextual environments (Executive, Creative, Tech, Wellness, age-based) rather than algorithmic feeds.
Connection Graph
See exactly who knows which version of you. When two of your contexts share a connection, you'll know before they do. Diagnostic instrumentation, not popularity metrics.
Vault Monetization
Coin-gate intimate content with permanent or timed access. Backstage that's never pushed to feeds—always entered intentionally.
No Algorithms
Reverse chronological feed filtered by your active Self, Ring, and Zone. No engagement metrics. No viral amplification.

Who needs strategic identity infrastructure?

Strategic Anonymity
Public figures create anonymous Selves to engage privately. Famous person messages a crush. Executive explores ideas without career risk. Creator separates professional brand from intimate expression.
Research & Investigation
Journalists enter investigative Zones without revealing identity. Researchers study communities authentically. Academics observe without contaminating primary persona.
Monetized Intimacy
Artists monetize private creative work via Vault. Writers offer exclusive essays. Creators sell intimate content without mixing with public persona.
Life Compartmentalization
Professionals separate work Self, social Self, experimental Self. Parents maintain public parenting persona, private relationship persona. Entrepreneurs keep startup identity distinct from personal brand.
